Hey anybody who has scored relatively high (750+) how did you go about studying for the test (SATII Physics). Which book did you use? What class are you in? How long you prepare? Etc...
I'm taking it in June and want to be over-prepared, so any comments help. thanks.

oh sat physics… fun times with that.
i took it for the first time last june after finishing my year-long introductory physics course and got a 650… obviously wasn’t happy with it, so i retook it last december.

the week before the saturday test, i crammed for about 20 hours. i used princeton review, kaplan, and barrons. thoroughly reviewed everything that i had forgotten, and took all the practice tests. my scores on the practice tests were around 750-780, which i was okay with, so i took the test pretty confidently. i ended up getting an 800 lol.

hope this helped.

yea thanks, it def did. but when u retook were u in ap physics or had u taken all that time off? and which book out of those 3 was most helpful/accurate do you think?

Nope, I wasn’t doing anything physics-related during that time (junior year). I was taking AP Chem.
I remember my Kaplan scores were always higher than Barrons. Princeton Review had everything pretty well-organized and easy to read. So I’d go for PR and Kaplan, since my score ended up being closest to the practice scores for those.

alright thank you very much. Do i have to remember every last equation or are there certain ones i should focus on?
