800 on Sparknotes Math IIC Practice - Accurate?

I took the practice Math IIC for Sparknotes just now and got an 800.

I missed 4 and omitted 2. I finished in 44:05 (it will be longer on the real thing because of bubbling stuff in and double-checking my work more).

One of the problems I missed was a vector, and the other one required me to find the magnitude of a complex number. I have no idea how to do these types of problems. Do they actually show up on the subject test? If so, how can I learn do solve them?

One more question: how do the Sparknotes and Barron's tests compare to the real ones? I took a Barron's test and got a 750 (but it was untimed). Thank you for all of your help.

I’m not sure about Sparknotes, but I had the Barron’s book and I was scoring 730 when I gave myself 10 extra minutes. I haven’t received my may Math II score yet, but I know it was probably 100 points easier, so I think you should be good. The math curve is pretty heavy, 6 or 7 questions. If you want to get an 800 though, I still like Barron’s!
