8th grade SAT testing, please help

I'm going to take the SAT's for John Hopkins Talent Search in June. While registering for the SAT's, it brought up a couple of questions.

First it had me select which high school I'm in so that they can send the counselors my scores. I'm not in high school yet (will be next year ), so should I just leave it blank or do I fill it in with the name of the high school I intend to go to?

Second, it said that my scores would be "purged at the end of the testing year," unless I ask them to keep my score "before the end of June of the year in which * tested " Since I'm taking it in June, how long does it take for the scores to come out? Will I have enough time to decide whether or not I want to keep my test scores before the collegeboard erase them from my profile?

Oh, and does the essay count into your grade for the writing section?

Thanks in advanced!

When I took the SAT under a talent search program, I used the code given to me by the talent search. Check your materials and read the instructions carefully; most talent search programs have special instructions to middle school students taking the test.

Yes.

By the way, you’re only in 8th grade – and this is a talent search program. There is almost no chance you will be using these scores for your applications. Consider it practice and nothing more. If you bomb, don’t sweat it one bit.

thank you

do you know when the results come out though, like, after how long?

^^ “There is almost no chance you will be using these scores for your applications.”

Oh I don’t know about that … 8th grade means 13/14 years old? One of two SAT’s I took and used for my apps this year I took at 14. Of course I was waitlisted … :(
