8th Semester Grade Question

<p>So I know that you have to send proof of graduation, as well as your 8th semester transcript to UM upon graduating, but if you got like C's in a class or two, what would they do?</p>

<p>They would possibly take away your admission, depending on your other stats/course rigor. Two C’s aren’t that bad if your classes are tough (well IMO they’re pretty bad, but not bad enough to get you rescinded) so you’ll probably be fine, but you never know…get your grades up plssss…</p>

<p>haha oh no don’t worry, i don’t have any c’s lol. i was just speaking figuratively if i got c’s during the last semester. thank you for the input though :)</p>

<p>UM specifically says on their website they don’t want to see: 3 C’s, a D, or an F on your senior year transcript. If you get two C’s you should be fine. Hope that somewhat answers your question.</p>

<p>Flipper: Yes. Especially if you get say two C’s say one in an AP and one in a class like Calculus you should be more then fine.</p>

<p>Wow, that’s a little messed up of them to mention that. Almost makes me wanna slack off and get 2 C’s if you know for a fact you’ll be fine and it won’t matter…</p>

<p>Assuming that people that get admitted get stellar grades the first semester of their senior year, they are gonna have to try really hard to have their final grade be a C or a D.
If you got an A your first semester, you’d have to get an F your second semester, and that would be a C+/B-.</p>

<p>I wouldn’t slack off since you need to finish strong to do well on the placement tests you’ll be taking as part of orientation.</p>
