Princeton '09.

I am so so so sad to know she is leaving. It's the right choice for her. But I am so so sad. I'll be OK tomorrow. More details to follow. Thank you all so much for your support through this long story and I look forward to her getting to know the other cc kids at Princeton. That is if she will ever confess to being Alumother's D:)

Congrats on the final decision. What a relief! I know she will do great! (and so will you)

Sending happy thoughts your way Alumother --- you know you gotta launch her sometime, and isn't it great that her "landing pad" will be Princeton?

Congratulations to Aludaughter and the rest of her family!! :D What a relief that the difficult decision is made, and now on to her wonderful future! (And I can empathize with the anticipated pain of sending her to the opposite coast, we'll need to get together to cry in our latte some evening, eh?)

And I think SBmom wins the bet on this one: she was only off by 29 min. and had the correct flip of the coin. ;)

Yay!! I win, I win!!

(achem. gets a life)

I am so happy to hear it is Princeton. I am in your tear-stained shoes with a kid going way far away-- but I think it is so incredibly good for them to see a different regional culture.

We'll console ourselves thinking of all the fun they are having!!

Mazel Tov to you Alum

Whoops! Nearly forgot the bubbly ::Pop::

Lots of ice cold e-Cristal for everyone!

Congratulations. Princeton bound, how exciting is that? Good job by all involved.

Sincerest congrats, Alumother...and I'm there with you crying thru the final stages of "launch"...right now there is no comfort--but knowing it's Princeton, and that you were so supportive of your D should help "later"...Princeton is lucky to get your D!

Dang, I was actually going to "bet" on Princeton - too late.

Congratulations, Alumother and Aludaughter! Good luck to her on her new adventure.

Alumother, A very cool conclusion! Congratulations and don't worry about the distance. I can tell you from experience that they're still our kids, no matter how far away.

Way to go!!!! I knew it!!!!

Alumother:

I knew it! She'll be in good company with other CCers and will get an awesome experience. Congrats!

so it is finally over...congratulations. What tipped her mind?

Congratulations! A well thought out decision - she will love Princeton.

Yay!!!!!!!! Congrats, Alumother.

Congratulations to your D!

Maybe we moms should start making up those little monthly "cheer up" boxes for ourselves, to ease the pain of departure.

Godiva is having a pre-Mother's Day sale. :)

Congratulations-I hope she has a great 4 years.

CONGRATULATIONS ON ALUM'S AMAZING DAUGHTER'S PRINCETON CHOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, that is just the most FABULOUS news! What an exciting and thrilling four years this will be! I am soooooooo incredibly happy for you both that this one adventure is ending and a new one beginning soon. Don't worry, you will have my shoulder to cry on when she leaves....that is, if you can find a dry spot after my son leaves! lol
