<p>You might be confused with CC’s and UC’s unit system?</p>
<p>You need 60 semester units (from your community college) which = 90 quarter units for UC. If you WERE talking about quarter units… Then I don’t know.</p>
<p>I sure they meant 90 quarter units (some community colleges are on a quarter system). </p>
<p>As for your question, some of the UC’s allow it. Others do not. I know they require you to have taken English and Math prior to the summer, but you should check the individual schools since they have different requirements.</p>

<p>Only Irvine and the lower UCs allow you to finish the 90 units by summer.</p>
