96.99 percent

Has this happened to anyone else? I just saw this is my grade, and grades go out in 2 days. Is it worth it to ask the teacher to bump it up? Will most teachers just bump it up? Will the computer (zangle) bump it up automatically?

Ask them! Sophomore year, my final grades for four of my classes were one point away from the next letter grade. It drove me crazy! I always ask now if I’m afraid it will happen and my teachers gladly give me that one extra point (or 3/5 of a point, etc.). Good luck!

I’m not familiar with your system but it is certainly worth asking your teacher to bump it up.

None of my teachers bumps up grades. I can see if you had a 89.99% Of course I would ask for bump lol. Yeah, if you want it up, try asking. Like stated above I’m not familiar with that system, but the system my school uses in Pinnacle which bumps up grades.

Incase anyone didn’t realize, the reason I want the bump is cause the A+ requirement in my school is 97 percent…just thought I’d throw that out there.

At my school A+ is technically 97. But teachers submit raw number grades, and the computer will round >96.5 up to an A+.

Our school doesn’t even have A+s.

unless it raises your GPA, don’t bother

@Stressedout- Yeah I might lose my #1 rank if I don’t have an A+

Dude it’s 0.01%. Do you not realize how little that matters in the scheme of things? It’s nothing.

^^

That 0.01% determines the difference between a 4.0 and a 4.3. It matters in the whole “scheme of things” in my opinion.

Unless the bump doesn’t change anything, I would say go for it.

unless you really want to be valedictorian so you could give that speech at the end of the year, I don’t think being #2 in ranking will make much difference. maybe you should just ask your teacher for the bump though anyways. you seem to really want it
