<p>Does Dartmouth look at 9th grade GPA? If it does then does it have less weight-age or is it equal. Did anyone hear anything about it in a information session?</p>
<p>Concerned because 9th grade gpa is lower (though there is a progressive trend upwards in 10th and 11th).</p>

<p>9th grade gpa is looked at. The school does take upward trends into consideration. If there was any major problems in 9th grade, it is time to have a talk with your GC. tell him/her about what happened sot that they can address it in their evaluation. They will also mention how you overcame and and blossomed as a student in subsequent years.</p>
