Hello, all. I’m an incoming freshman / 9th grader. I recently just took the full practice test on College Board. Here are my scores:
Reading - 620
Writing - 720 (Essay: 12)
Math - 800
Total Score: 2140
I’m aiming for a 2350+ score on the SAT (or since the revised SAT is replacing it, 1570+), and I plan to take the SAT for the first time in the fall of my junior year. I am aware that the test I took was merely a CollegeBoard practice test and may not reflect my actual scores when I take the SAT. In addition, the revised SAT will replace the old SAT, which is the current practice test on CollegeBoard, so that may become a setback. However, in order to attempt to counteract the revised SAT hindering any progress, I have continued to practice on Khan Academy for the new SAT. And with the grading curve still integrated into the new SAT, I should be one of the more prepared if I continue to study for the new SAT on Khan. My question is, am I on track to receive the scores I aim to achieve?
