Here are some schools I'm interested in:

Berkeley
Pomona
Brown
Wesleyan
Harvard
Vassar
Macalester
Yale
Swarthmore
Grinnell
Bowdoin
Reed
Amherst

Am I a competitive applicant? Am I crazy to even consider Ivy League or similarly competitive schools like Amherst/Pomona/Swarthmore? I feel like I have no hook: I haven't received any national awards and I'm not a nationally ranked musician or athlete. My GPA is sort of low because I have gotten mostly A-'s in my math/physyics/chem classes. I have little leadership.

Please give honest opinions. I'd rather not build up false hope.

No one?

Does anyone have any advice on areas I could work on before December? What I could do over the summer?

you have good stats just do well on sat2s and your going to get into atleast 1 top 15 college.

what private school do you go to btw?

Haha thanks, but I'm really not very interested in the ranking of the college I go to. And I'd rather not say where I go to highschool.

Anyone else??

Criticism? Suggestions of schools like ones on my list? I need a few safeties, and I don't know where to look for them.

I didn't go to the trouble of making this for nothing.. Please someone give me some chances to schools listed :(

shameless bump

I love to chance those in desperation :) so okay....

Berkeley --what do you think?
Pomona--40%
Brown--20%
Wesleyan--40%
Harvard --what do you think?
Vassar--60ish%
Macalester --don't know it so won't chance you
Yale -- hehe....
Swarthmore-- !! 40%
Grinnell--40%
