I got an 1890 on the October SATS, a 130 point increase from the first time I took them last June. I'm really not all that impressed by my score, so I'm retaking in December. Do you think its possible for me to increase my score about 150 points in about a month?

What reading materials do you recommend? Studying styles? I'm not about to do SAT courses, they're too expensive.

I just boosted my scores 180 points in the 10 days before the October test. In a month you should have more than enough time to at least achieve a 150 point gain.

I used 'Boot Camp For Your Brain' by Denmark Manning.

The book is supposed to be used in conjunction with the College Board Blue Book. I also took Mrs. Manning's course as she operates her company out of Northern VA. The course was helpful but not anything you cant do on your own IF you have the dedication. For $1000 (well actually $995, but whos counting) I got 5 one hour classes where she went over an entire Blue Book test at insane speed. That works out to $250 an hour for her expertise and the class was with 5-10 other people (i.e. shes making bank). But all the class did was force me to take a bunch of blue book tests and gave me a great resource to figure out the ones I got wrong. You can do that all with dedication and CC and save $1000.

Her book outlines everything that I suppose makes her company worth $250 an hour. She even outlines the most critical parts of the book to learn if you have limited time so I would highly suggest it since you are under time restrictions. The book is very comprehensive and written in a user-friendly way and tone.

The bottom line is her book and plan works. If you dont believe me check out the nearly perfect reviews her book received on Amazon.

ReadyToBeDone, that's a very popular book that I have never heard about at all. Thanks! Can you explain exactly what makes it so much better than a PR prep book?
