a 30...

Hey everybody,

I really need a 30 on my ACTs. A 29 would be ok I guess but thats the lowest I can go. I can write/read well and such but I'm no math whiz at all. I'm terrible at math actually and it is my worst subject (590 math on SAT, C's and low B's in math in HS this year).

Is a 30 really hard to pull off on the ACT? How should I go about studying for it (I'm taking it June 9th). I'll do anything need to for that 30!

If your that bad at math then you should really really prepare. A 590 on the math sat is far below a 29 on the act. But the act math is easier than sat but its like 40 questions in idk, 30 min or 25min? So you take the section right away instead of having it in chunks like the sat. I got a 690 on my sat math but I got a 27 on the act math.

Nothing's guaranteed, but you have a much better chance of scoring 30 or higher if you prepare. So get that prep material and start crackin'...

its 60 questions in 60 minutes for math.

the best thing is to practice and review.

Buy the Kaplans ACT Comprehensive book.
It's the very best, read through the strategies and do some practice problems.
I got a 32 and my lowest score was a 27 on math.
