A.B. Duke or Harvard?

Joe,

My comment was not in any way a sign of arrogance. I was simply telling the op that if he is undecided and has only a short time to make a decision that he/she would not go wrong with a Harvard education. Please do not take any kind of arrogance from that.

go to duke…AB Duke is a huge honor and you will have incredible networking opportunities as well as scholarship money to travel everywhere

but ehh you can’t go wrong either way  great position to be in

A.B. Duke is an amazing opportunity very few get the chance to even look at. It is awesomeness and beyond. If I were you I would be eating the offer out of their hands :D

This thread is from 2008, so presumably the OP has already chosen between Duke and Harvard and nearly completed his/her freshman year at one of them. Not sure why/how this post got brought back up a year later …

It helps to read the date on posts before replying.

:) Right - I was about to reply until I read a reply from myself that I didn’t recall writing!

Well now, here’s a mystery. I wanted to know the end of this story, so I clicked on MysticCrusader’s name to look for subsequent posts. I found that on 04-30-2008 in a similar thread on the Duke board, s/he posted “Thanks everyone! I think Duke it is.” Then, on 05-22-2008, in response to a thread seeking advice on essays, s/he appended “Btw, I got into Harvard, MIT, UPenn, etc.” If s/he was headed to Duke, I doubt s/he’d have omitted it from her/his shared list of acceptances. So, where did MysticCrusader wind up?

S/he stopped ■■■■■■■■ at CC :D

He ended up at Duke and did visit my D at Harvard during their spring break alongwith some other AB Dukies.
