Alright, so this may sound completly and absolutely lame...but I have a B in driver ed! Along with almost 100% of the class (to my knowledge, because the class average is 79%). Ive checked with several sources, and it seems to me that it does not count in the GPA, hence class rank will not go down. However, I think, though not sure, that this may show up in the transcript. How will this look to colleges??? Is it horrible because it is not an honors class, obviously?

Of course its going to be a huge problem in your transcript

The admission people are going to be like "HE CANT DRIVE!! HE'LL RUN INTO OTHER CARS IN OUR PARKING LOTS!!" then you'll get rejected

Although I doubt a B in driver's ed would hurt your transcript, I would be more concerned with the fact that you're getting a B in driver's ed.

lol driver's ed is part of your curriculum? I dont think I even received a final grade in it since they said the 5 hour DD course substituted for taking the class final exam.

If the class average is a 79% then how is 100% of the class getting Bs.

^^^^^the recent test, which is was one of only two grades had an average of 79%. Thus, most people are in the b range or lower if they did not turn in their hw.

hehe you screwballs have to take driver's ed in school. everyone at my school goes to some driving school over the summer, where we watch worthless videos about not drinking and driving...which are so bad they actually make me want to drink and drive jk.

do not let him get behind the wheel !
Just kidding..I thought drivers ed was pass or fail.
Driver's ed in our school system is a joke. They use simulators , not cars. Even private driving lessons are poor. The object is to obtain your learner's permit and the actual instruction literally falls into the hands of the parents.
This is in NJ.
I think it is terrible, but then when I learned it was in the late 70's Mass.

Put yourself in the position of an adcom. Yeah, it's gonna look kind of questionable. But guess there's not much you can do about it.

it will not make or break you. pretend that's an A for an instant. if you're qualified, then they'll accept you even if its a B.

At our school we play Gran Turismo IV for drivers' ed. Well, no, not really.

Wait why did you get a B? From not studying or... poor driving??? Or was it because of those ridiculously outdated simulators dating back to the 1970s? My school still uses those... Those are infuriating. I wanted to swerve at every pedestrian I saw.

lmao...poor driving. i had like an 100in driver's ed without doing crap and i can't drive a foot without killing someone.

Sorry - Your dream of truckers school is over

Sorry - learn how to drive.

You're screwed for life.

Are you Asian? It would explain the B.
