<p>Not nearly as much as not taking the test at all will.</p>
<p>I got a 770 and got in EA, if that answers your question.</p>
<p>According to the admissions office, they employ no cut-offs. Just take a little time to study for the test. You still have - a month, I think? I studied ~1 month before taking the math level 2 (a few hours per week) and scored 800. So long as you practice, you'll do fine. Obviously shoot for 800, but don't worry if it's a little lower.</p>

<p>If it's any help, the curve for the Math IIC exam is pretty easy, from what I understand. Many people score 800 or in the high 700s.</p>
