Does McGill have those outreach programs where newly-accepted students can come and visit the school and stay with a current student over a weekend? Or something similar to that? I know Stanford has something like that.
I've been combing McGill's website, but it seems like they only offer SFAD and one-hour tours (that don't even show the dorms). Are those the only ways i can visit McGill before deciding whether or not to accept their offer?

Yea, that's pretty much about all they offer in the way of formal school visits. Though if you call the Welcome Centre, they might be able to arrange a tour of the dorms (that's what my tour guide said).

This is partly because most of their students (Anglo-Quebecers) live within, at most, 30 minutes of the main campus (by any method of transportation) and can just go down and see it whenever they want. Everyone else is sorta' on their own, sadly.

Anyway, do try calling the Welcome Centre (514-398-6555) or the Residence Office (514-398-6368) - they might be able to set something special up.

will do, definitely. thanks a lot!
awesome reply about speaking french in mcgill, btw.
