So, I have a 3.75 unweighted GPA, I'm a member of National Honor Society, and heavily involved in extracurriculars. I've been told what a desirable college candidate I am since freshmen year. The thing is, I just took my chem final and I think I totally bombed it. It's only 12% of my total grade and my grade for the semester was an A-/B+. Seeing as it's my junior year, I'm a little stressed about the effect this final could have on my chances for some of my top choices. What makes it worse is that my final grade for Trig is a C. If I have mostly A's, a low B, and a C for my second semester grades, will that hurt me really badly even though I got straight A's all Freshmen and Sophomore year?

Yes, it shows that in the crucial development point of high school (junior year), you’ve kind of fell flat on your face.
What are you trying to get into?
