Long story short, logged onto Emory OPUS today just to check on my status of my application, and I noticed that under my to do list, it said early decision agreement and initiated next to it.

Here's exactly what it said in the message:
The Early Decision Agreement must be submitted for all Early Decision 1 or Early Decision 2 candidates. It must be signed by the student, parent, and high school counselor and submitted electronically through Common Application by your high school counselor or can be returned to the Office of Admission by the deadline date for submission of application materials. The Early Decision Agreement can be downloaded at Emory College of Arts and Sciences Admission Home.
Once this item is received and reviewed, it will no longer display on your To-Do list.

What does that mean? I submitted my ED agreement through Common App under the supplement section if that helps.

Since were on the subject of To Do Lists for Emory OPUS… under mine it says for my CSS profile “Initiated” but I sent it the 4th of November so should they have gotten it by now? Also since my applying early I do not need to worry about the 13-14 FASFA or the IDOC thing correct? I completed the 12-13 FASFA. Thanks guys!

Be careful with the early decision agreement! I and my parent signed it but it never made it to my counselor, she didn’t even know I applied ED (or tried to anyway) until almost a month after the deadline! Make sure your counselor knows, and calling the school to ensure they got it probably isn’t a bad idea.

Ditto what emilyb said. When my son signed his ED agreement, I got an e-mail about it with a link bringing me to where I needed to go to sign. We assumed his GC got an e-mail too, but as the deadline approached we noticed the ED section still didn’t show she had signed it. When he went in to ask her about it, she said she doesn’t get an e-mail about it, that she only knows if the student goes in and personally talks to her about it.
