So I had a meeting that was important and i accidentally overslept and missed the meeting. this is important to me and it was really accidental, otherwise there was no way i would have missed it. What are the chances that it could be rescheduled and should I be honest or what?
Yes, you should be honest…but there is no way we can give you any informed idea about the chances of it being rescheduled. Especially when we don’t know what kind of meeting it was, and with whom.
Contact the folks you stood up, be very very apologetic, plead your case but with humility and honesty. That’s all you can do.
Also buy another clock and for important meetings, don’t stay up the night before and set two alarms.
