a bit of a problem for summer

i am unable to go to the summer orientation because i can not take any more vacation days at my job (long family trip before going to college) and i am a direct admit freshman into the business school. i was told that i cant get the classes i want. how much narrower does my choice of classes get if i choose to attend the orientation right before school starts (the makeup one at the end of august)?

thanks for the help guys. really appreciate it.

For the most part you should get the classes you need. It’s going to be tough and they might not be at an ideal time, but you should be okay. Also, don’t be afraid of the waitlist. Many people drop out of classes and change their schedule around the first week, so if you find that you are in a good spot on the waitlist, DEFINITELY stay. I had to waitlist two courses this semester after registering really late and I got in to both of them no problem.

It will be harder to get the classes you want and the times are going to be aweful, but you will still get into classes that will help towards your degree.
