We have received many inquiries this past week abou the exact time we will send our ED decision emails on Thursday. We understand how anxious you all are, but we ask for some patience since we do not have an exact time set for the email release.

The staff will spend today (Wednesday, Dec. 14) finishing decisions, making sure the ED class is the one we all agree on, and generating all of our mailings. Tomorrow morning (Thursday, Dec. 15 - Decision day) will be sent confirming that the correct decision letters are going to the correct students and the correct addresses. With about 1000 responses to send out the whole process takes some time.

Once the mail arrives at the post office that it is time for the email to be sent. This will probably happen in the afternoon (EST) but we do not know for sure. The one guarantee is this, an email will be sent out before close of business tomorrow - which is >>5:00pm (EST)<<.

Patience is key!"

Yes... Patience is key, but is it plausible?

Of course it's plausible. I've had my own personal countdown that started two months ago. I'm definitely fine with waiting one more day. It's not like I'm over anxious about it either. I haven't lost a minute of sleep thinking about it, though that may be because I just don't get much in general.

It's especially funny that people are asking for the exact time; a few years ago everyone just had to wait for the snail mail decisions to arrive. It would take 2 days for some people, 5 for others, and your days leading up to the actual day you get the letter would probably consist of running home everyday to check your mailbox in hopes of getting something... and repeat if necessary.

Try and keep yourselves busy. Count the number of hairs on the kid sitting in front of you in class or something. Either way, patience is definitely key!

That was random, but very amusing. Thanks silver!

I've been working on the Ali G snap, where all you have to do is leave your pointer finger loose, whip your hand, and it will slap the other fingers to make a snapping sound.
