A broad question for college: What's a good freshman schedule?

One of the guys I know who goes to UF told me a good schedule would be one where I have a four day weekend, with no classes on Friday and Saturday. While that sounds awesome, what do you guys think?
And concerning preview, do you guys think June 14th-15th would be good preview dates where I could potentially get all the classes and schedule I want? Thanks :]

Who has classes on saturday? Do you mean Thursday and Friday? A good schedule depends on what you are looking for. I preferred that my classes be later than 10am, however some of my bio/chem classes with good teachers started at 7:25am and that was my only option. I took my labs later in the day. People that I knew that lived off-campus seemed to prefer taking about there classes as early as possible, so they can go home.

Lol sorry, meant Friday :stuck_out_tongue:
I would probably prefer classes that are earlier in the day.

all classes between 10 and 4 are great for me.

i’m not sure you’re looking for something more specific like how many classes you should take, but i would highly recommend taking more than 15 credits your first year. its better to go in scared as **** than to go in scared, take a few easy classes, and suddenly think you’re going to graduate with a 4.0. you risk getting soft for when classes actually get hard.
