I have a few questions as well:
What ecs do you advice i should do, because maybe i dont have enough?
Does the senior grades count in school?
Do colleges care about unweighted scores?

I really admire the help, thx evry1!

youre in with a scholarship

You're predicting everything...

If you can get your predicted scores, I say you're in.

ok in junior year my predications are going as planned

The following prediction is based upon your prediction...........call back after you get scores.

get a 4.0!

honestly kids, these posts aren't really useful to gauge whether or not you'll get in. i know of kids with mediocre qualifications who got in, and kids with stellar applications who were rejected.

fact is, NYU is selective. nothing is a guarantee, unfortunately. you'll just have to wait for the envelope.

try waiting until you get the grades, then come back and post them when you've actually achieved them. not that these chance threads can really tell you much, a lot of times, highly qualified kids simply don't get in and kids with lower gpa's do. Remember to show a lot of interest in nyu in your application.
good luck.

lets see if your prediction can come true. If they can, you have a great shot at your goal.

Ok so i screwed up sophomore year, but in junior year, my average was 93

and my second term i can guarantee 95 - 97
AP biology- pretty sure 5
ap us history - 4 ---- maybe 5 relly hard though
sat i got 2050 :(

oh and i will do early decision to stern

so can u chance me now with more evidence

anybody??
please chance me based on experience

and i have to do something over the summer
Can someone give me like precise information about where i should actually work.

relax. do something you like, or just find a job and make some money.

any 1 else please i am aplying this year. I need help

Haha well man, I'm applying this year too and everything's pretty much set in stone by now, GPA and EC-wise.

All that's left is to retake your SATs, write a good essay, and than all you can do is wait till december. I feel your pain man. If you got a 2050 on your first try, you can definitely hit 2200 if you prep, or at least mid-2100s. I got a 1290/1900 in June, did horrible in math despite my asian-ness. I'm preping right now, trying to get around 1400 out of 1600. I'm applying to Tisch though, so they're less harsh on numbers and I have my portfolio to save me.

And what specialized HS in NYC has only 400 kids?! Even Hunter has like 1200 kids
