So... as much as I wish it weren't true, I've ended up with a C in my last quarter organic.
The grades were based on an absolute scale, so there was a lot more of us who received Cs than the previous quarters of orgo. I don't feel that it is too fair, but clearly it's no excuse for my C, so what I want to ask is whether or not I need, or should, retake the last quarter of organic again next year. I understand it isn't going to help me by the least to get a better grade on it the second time, but will a C in organic suffice the premed req at most medical schools? I also have the option of taking a higher level organic class called "organic chemistry of drug synthesis," do you think taking that would fill the 1 year of organic chemistry I need if the C in my last quarter of organic won't count as part of the requirement?

Yes, so don’t retake it. You should only retake pre-reqs if you get a C- or lower.

What about the option of taking another organic class?
