I applied to Lawrence RD, and I'm waiting on a decision. Just tonight, I got a completely unexpected and random phone call from a current student at Lawrence. She called to see if I had any questions. Off the top of my head, completely off gaurd, I didn't really, but she asked me all about how my senior year was going and everything. She was really nice...I felt like I was talking to an equal, a friend.

I love it when people are nice. I'm glad Lawrence does this kind of stuff. :)

My daughter is one of those Lawrence student callers, and she loves her job! She will be very happy to get this feedback, even if she wasn't the student who called you. In answer to the follow-up reply: these calls have no bearing on your admission status- everyone gets called; but you don't have to wait much longer! Good luck.

My daughter is waiting to hear, and I was thinking that since she hasn't received a phone call , it probably means it's not looking good. Thank you for clarifying that the phone call has no bearing on her admission status. We are both keeping our fingers crossed for an acceptance and can't wait for this horrible waiting period being over with.

Does anyone know when the letters are sent out? My son was deferred EA and is anxiously awaiting a letter. Hope it comes soon since we want to visit another school in Wisconsin which he was accepted to and would hate to make 2 trips out since we don't live nearby. Thanks for clarifying about the letters too since my son didn't get one either.

i'm an international student and got my acceptance email from Lawrence on the 19th, so i guess you guys might have received the answer already...i really may go there, seeing that people there are so nice =) good luck to all of you!

I just got my acceptance package on Monday. The letter was nice...hand signed and he wrote, "Welcome to Lawrence, *" I also got a scholarship which was hand signed and he wrote, "Great job, *. Hope you join us." Oh..and on my acceptance letter it said that they wanted to save my essay for future college applicants. Did anyone else's say that?
