A Canadian student applying from average high school?

Hello, I am a Grade 11 high school student studying in British Columbia, Canada.
The fact that I am full Korean doesn't really help with the acceptance percentages.
I do attend a private high school with a 95% average but that is about it.
My school doesn't offer any AP or IB Programs and ranks about 60/300 in BC.
When I was in Grade 9, I took a practice SAT test and got 2150 and will take the real one soon.

My plan was to attend a top college-prep boarding school from Grade 9 to 12 but the tuition was $50000 and my parents couldn't afford it.
At that time, I gave up my dream of attending an Ivy League university and decided to attend a Canadian university.

I was wondering if Harvard even looks at Canadian high schools that aren't "feeders" and how low are my chances since my high school is... pretty insignificant?
Is it too late to start "officially" preparing?

I’m pretty much in the same position as you, but I attend a public high school. I would say a lot depends on your essays and ECs. Your scores and grades are in range. You might want to talk to your counsellor about this too.

Yeah, well that’s the thing. Those college prep schools seem to have counsellors that know exactly how to sell to those colleges. The thing is, I’m pretty sure my school’s college counsellor knows only about Canadian universities or maybe only even ones in BC. I used to have a close private tutor who knew a lot about and sent many students to Ivies but he moved away to Saskatchewan… So I feel like I’m on my own.
