I could have bought a car anytime I want but I chose not to 'cause my parents travel so much that their cars are availible and I dont have to pay any insurance then. They've allowed me to tap into a living expenses loan to work on a car project this summer - pontiac fiero econobox...2200 lbs gutted, space frame, dropping in a 5.7l v8 and doing a full custom widebody to fit 355s in the rear and longer control arms. I don't really like to drive for purpose, so I'd rather hitch rides.

i started working as a waitress when i was fourteen and ive worked about 30hrs a week every since to pay for my hella sweet 2000 rav4

my parents wouldnt pay for crap and told me to ride the bus lol

I have vision problems that were just fixed i just have to get off my seizure medicine and b off it for a yr so i think i will be abou 80 when i get my license...lol im legally not allowed to get my license ttill my first yr of college

"Well here in California, it costs me $3.31 for a gallon of regular at the cheapest branded gas station within a 3 mile radius of my house."

Ouch. It's around $2.48 a gallon in Texas.

$3.31????? WHAT?

You're lucky. Here in Thousand Oaks (Ventura) it's $3.37 for regular.

well its around 2.69 in Austin now...First car was a 98 Honda Civic Coupe bought in Junior Year for 7k, just traded that in a week ago for an 07 Scion Tc.

I'm in the middle of my junior year and my mom got a new Lexus so I get my mom's 2000 Infiniti I30.

Here in Chino hills, its like $3.34 for regular.

gas is at the "low" price of $3.24 for premium here

I won't get get my permit until next october/november probably.
I'm am on my knees praying that my dad decides he needs a new car and is in a REALLY good mood and doesn't want to sell his mercedes.
sigh
haha. idk if I'll be getting getting a car. Perhaps senior year.

lol, i just remembered. when I was 10, my dad made a deal with me that if I got a full scholarship to a really good college, he'd buy me my Mercedes CLK dream car.

so maybe I should be studying for my APUSH test......

i will get one two years from now...maybe...who knows...

I got it when I turned 16, my father told me he wanted me to have what American kids have, but nothing more

I got a 1995 Toyota Celica Black Convertible. Man oh man, good stuff back then

Let's see.. though... I drove a Porche for about a month in my senior year, and had it for Prom

and... I had a BMW Z3 for a few months as well.

The luxury cars were rented? ones or something like that, my dad's a huge fan of cars. He himself drives like a 350Z

I have a Honda Accord 98. My dream car is a Nissan Z350, but i dont think i will get it anytime soon

I'm 16 and a Junior, I don't have one.
My dad promised me one if I maintained a 3.8 sophomore year...and I did...and I still don't have the car.
I'm supposed to get one this August and I'm going to pay the note on it.
Choices: Honda, Toyota, Nissan, or Mazda.

I'd love to have a plug-in hybrid with a range of about 100...
It'd be nice if plug-in hybrids were mass produced at an affordable price.
::sigh::

true, runpunk. Gas prices are fluctuating every now and then.
Which type of gas do you guys use?
Regular, Plus, or Premium?
I used to fill up my tank with Regular and occasionally plus, until my brother told me it's going to mess up my car, so I now fill it up with premium.

can't drive, don't have a car, will probably drive my dad's deawoo 2000 model eventually.

2.85 here in miami.....and it hurts lol, $40 to fill the tank.

So I am guessing that gas prices are highest in NY and Cali?
