A career in automation and robotics

What would be the best major for a career in automation/robotics?</p>

cant decide a major
I really want to take CS(i am a good programmer) but i am totallly into robotics
I just cant live without robots
I want to take a major that would involve projects in robots and automation but at the same time i Want to earn more and have an upper hand in market</p>
