Hey guys! Thanks for coming to my question! Alright, so here is basically my r

I think that it would be sort of tough for you to get in. Your ECs are great but your GPA, however, is not. GPA is what UGA tends to put most of their focus on. Don’t count your chickens before they hatch with the tests too. It will take a lot of work to get those scores you think you can achieve. I do think that coming around and showing improvement with your grades will look good but having some Ds on your transcript will make them think. Apply anyways because you never know what could happen, but you realllllly want a GPA of about 3.8 or higher with sat/act scores of 1850/28 or higher to stand a good chance. Good luck!

I live in Georgia as well. I know plenty of kids who get in with low scores. I also know plenty of kids with decent scores who don’t get in. You probably have a decent chance, but I wouldn’t count it as a for sure thing.
