a chance of a community college student to get an Internship? (need help!)

I guess it's kinda too late to talk about this...

I'm just wondering if there is anyone in here attending at a community college (junior college) and try to get an internship??

I'm attending at a community college in california, and in my CC there is no career center, and the school doesn't help the students to get an internship! and there is NO career day in my campus. Well, I guess it's normal for a community college, but still.... I need an internship!!!

I am a chemical engineering student, due to financial issue I have to attend at local communty college and then transfer to UC Davis. This fall actually I am transfering to UC Davis. I know there is a good career center at UC Davis, but I am REALLY hoping if I can get an internship this summer cuz I need money and experiences. All I did so far just sent my resumes to companies' website,( I have applied to Amgen, Genetech, Novartis, Shell, Intel, etc. I think I have applied to like 20 companies), but until now I haven't received any responds =(

any advices will be appreciated!
thank you very much.

ps: I'm sorry if my messege is too long =)

Cold-calling. Networking.

Tough times don't last; tough men do.

craigslist.com dude. It has some pretty great stuff if you check it often enough.

Monster.com.

Hell, go to SF State's center (assuming you're still in SF from your location information), I doubt anyone will notice.

Which CC do you go to that doesn't have the center?

And work on your grammer.

Taking your first sentence as an example:

"I'm just wondering if there is anyone in here attending at a community college (junior college) and try to get an internship??"

Correct:I'm wondering if there is anyone ON here, attending A community college (junior college), and tryING to get an internship?

They're judging you on what you write down, and if your English isn't proficient enough, they're not going to hire you for an internship. Harsh, but true.
