Essays:

Common Application one about Indian sandwiches. Definitely unique, I thought it was pleasant.

Thanks in advance!

average objective stats, but from the context of a not-so-good high school, I think colleges will give you more leeway

I think you have a bunch of activities that all point to different directions (a common well-rounded applicant) but of course you seem to have more focus on choir and forensics, so stress that on your app

I don’t know the prestige of that internship, and the extent of commitment to your activities (you don’t seem to have any awards coming from your extracurriculars like choir and forensics), but they look aight

your essay, it may be unique, but it also has to be a window into your personality. (f.x, if you just talk about indian sandwiches and why they are special and make you smile, you won’t get very far; if like hypothecally lol you weave it into relevance about how you became persistent or somethign makeing those sandwiches lol it might be something)

if your teacher recs are super duper good, I would say you have a above average (idk, maybe like 50-60 % chance) of being admitted

yourewelcomegoodluckdontstresslifeisgreat

i really appreciate such a detailed and helpful response. I love the bit at the end as well haha. my school teams are just not good enough to win much so oh well for that haha. in regards to the essay, the indian sandwiches was a part of a story about failing to fit in and accepting who i am (sounds kinda corny but it worked). I appreciate the feedback and I will hope for the best!
