-Music: Marching band (9-10), jazz band (9-12), concert band/wind ensemble (9-12). I obviously play French horn. I started halfway through freshman year and I was a percussionist beforehand. I play bass in jazz band. I'm a piano accompanist at my school. I play bass in the small combo for SAS Singers, the highest singing ensemble at school. I'm section leader in both wind ensemble and jazz ensemble. I'm principal horn in the orchestra.
-Speaking: Model United Nations (11-12). I was selected for the middle level (sort of JV) conference in Beijing my first year, and then the varsity level conference in Taipei this year. I'm also trying out for extemporaneous speaking (forensics).
-Clubs: Tri-M (music honor society), Mandarin Club, Chinese Honor Society, Independent Performing Artists' Union
-Other: I skipped second grade, as well as Mandarin 2. I started Mandarin 1 freshman year and then studied the Mandarin 2 textbook on my own over the summer and was able to take Mandarin 3 this year. I have an A.</p>
