A Common Topic But I Still Need Advice

Retake in order? I'm not sure if I want to risk going down in math or writing. I'm applying to some of the more competitive schools (Princeton, Brown, Dartmouth, Stanford). I'm not sure if this is good enough or whether they superscore even if I go down by 50 points.

The CR score's a bit low, so retake. Remember, colleges "superscore", which means they take the best from each section. So even if you go down on any of the sections, you (usually) get the benefit of the best score from each section.

Most schools superscore. I'm not sure about Princeton, Brown, or Stanford, but I know Dartmouth superscores.

You should retake it to get the CR up.

Yeah, I'd go ahead and retake if you think you can improve your CR, because the other scores are definitely good enough. You're also really close to a 2300, which is a cut-off level for some scholarships and stuff.

Retake. I'd basically focus on CR for studying because of the superscoring factor. I'd aim for 700+. Just 20 points more!! (Easier said than done!) I think schools mentioned like to see all sections in 700+ range, but scores are really great no matter what. Outside of that, I'd concentrate on ESSAYS and rest of application.
