No then they won’t because you would be an overseas student and hence would be exempted from the O level. You still would need to give 5 O level to get an equivalence and get admission here.

Rejoice, everybody! it’s official that equivalence won’t be needed anymore wohoo!
The links saying equivalence is no longer needed is kind of true but only for the case of Romana (you must read article to understand). One of my colleagues contacted IBCC and they told that it’s just an annonucement, no paperwork done so far. Also universities would still need the equivalence so please don’t get all relaxed. Unless your concerned university updates on its website that an equivalence isn’t required, it’s mandatory!

CAE won’t be considered in equivalence (as far as I know)
O level equivalence: 645/900
A level + O level: 810/1100 = 74%

@JAWEED you’re welcome The percentage I wrote above is includes the IBCC deduction. Since A* is at 90/100, this means even if someone gets 8A*, they will still get 720/800 marks at max. No other deduction.

I did IGCSE in Bahrain from the edexcel board. I didn’t do pakistan studies, urdu and islamiyat. I did double award science which means I gave papers for all 3 science subject but the certificate was only for 2 subjects and I got double A*s. I am doing A levels in Pakistan and I am going to give pakistan studies, urdu and islamiyat with my A2s this year. I have 6 other IGCSE subjects including math, ICT, business, geography, english language and literature. I am planning to study medicine in Pakistan as a local student. My worries are:
- Do I have to do pakistan studies, urdu and islamiyat?
- Is double award science going to be counted?
- Is it okay if I do pakistan studies, islamiyat and urdu from caie board?
- Also will I be in the pre-med group and if not will I be able to get into a medical university?
P.S I am a pakistani national.
@Farea000 since you gave O level outside Pakistan, you’re exempted from the three subjects. As per my knowledge and the document on the ibcc’s website.

3. Yes! Caie board is the most recognized one across whole Pakistan after the Punjab/Federal board.
4. You must have studied physics, chemistry and biology at o and a level. Else you are not eligible at any cost.

your OL eq is= 621/900
your AL eq is= ( 621 + 145 ) / 1100 = 69%

What will I select for my matric board will it be CambridgeUK
if so then what will be the Matric Total Marks/CGPA and Matric Marks Obtained/CGPA
Also is there any Registration No which is asked in the form present on the equivalence Certificate

It would be your equivalence score that I calculated above
I have no idea about it but it’s most probably going to be your roll number that’s printed on your O level certificates
