A couple Bs can I get into these schools?

Hey!

So, I am a Junior in high school in Boulder, Co and was hoping to go to either Caltech, Stanford, or the BS/MD program at CU Denver. I’d really appreciate knowing what my chances are/any advice?

4.6188 Weighted GPA
3.88 Unweighted GPA

This year, first semester I’m going the get a b in two classes. AP CALC BC and AP CHEM (both weighted).

I’ve also gotten a b in freshman Honors Physical Science 1st semester (weighted) and Sophomore Honors Precalculus second semester (weighted).

My other classes this year are AP US HISTORY, AP LANG, AP SPANISH LANGUAGE, and orchestra.

IN the past I’ve taken 3 AP classes, AP GOV (5 on the AP exam), AP HUMAN GEO (5 on the AP exam), AP WORLD HISTORY (4 on the exam).

I think I have pretty good extracurriculars:

-Internship/ working on CRISPR research at CU BOULDER
-10+ years playing the violin
-President of school FBLA chapter
-5th place in Journalism at FBLA nationals
-Extensive low income hospital volunteering
-Doctor shadowing
-Swim team all 4 of high school

I’d really appreciate any responses!

please! I’m freaking out right now

Not sure if you’ll get in or not but if you don’t it won’t be because of a few Bs. A 3.88 GPA is great. There’s no reason to be freaking out.

In general, it is easier to get into a BS/MD program than getting into the top schools like Stanford and Caltech. Given your interest in medical field (BS/MD), and your activities like “Extensive low income hospital volunteering” and “Doctor shadowing”, I would say you will be a strong candidate for BS/MD programs, as long as you keep the GPA at or above where it is now.
