First of all, the better diction is to call them stupid, idiotic, meaningless, mind-sullying, thickheaded, dimwitted questions from HELL!

Now, I am not an expert, but I have certainly read a lot and talked to many about this, so I guess my input would be somewhat valuable (but of course, someone will prove this wrong.)

AP grades are not important at selective colleges, since all applicants take AP or the even harder IB courses. So they don't pay much attention to the AP exam grade, except if you get a 5, because then they will let you skip the introductory classes. They just care that you took the hardest classes your school had to offer, so (just as an example) if your school offered IB courses, and you only took AP courses, your screwed.

Having 5's will not increase your chances of acceptance at selective (HYPS) colleges. It will only give you the opportunity to skip introductory classes, which you don't have to do, and some colleges actually prefer you don't (I talked to a Harvard rep who said they actually like students to get the "whole Harvard experience," which involved taking courses from scratch.)

If you want to major in business, AP Eco, AP Gov't, and taking some foreign language are all advisable. However, you should get experience outside of school through internships and getting recommendation letters from people outside the school in the field. It is POSSIBLE to get a 5 on those exams by self-studying for a month, but not advisable, unless your school does not teach them (especially if you really want to major in business.)

Your welcome, I know you really appreciate my reply.
