i just went back and checked the status of my application, and have a couple questions

first of all, i took the SAT's in november and sent the scores then.. it has now been 6 weeks, and rochester still hasn't gotten my scores.. every other college has... what am i supposed to do? send them an email? send college board an email? do nothing and hope for the best?

and also.. i reread my short essays, and realized to my dismay that they were a bit overfilled with errors. it's an interesting story actually... when i was doing the app, and had finished it, was uploading my essay, and when i had choosen the file to upload, i clicked "submit" thinking that there would be a confirmation page, from which i could go back to editing my app.. to my immense dismay, it just submitted my application. i never did get to check my short essays.. they're now riddled with careless mistakes..

boy, am i an idiot sometimes..

so, what im wondering is whether or not that will seriously hurt me. it would suck to get rejected just because i was dumb for that one moment.. and also, do they look at stuff like essays when they give scholarships?
