A Couple of Questions.

Do I get "bonus" points, I guess, if my school only offers 1 AP and I take that AP class?

And

How important is your senior schedule? Even though some colleges I will apply to wont see all of my grades, do they still consider it very important in the admissions process?

Thanks for any answers.

Colleges do consider how rigorous your high school schedule is, given the context of what is offered by your high school. Most counselor recommendation forms require this information.

Your senior schedule is important - colleges do not want to see any slacking off. Are you continuing to challenge yourself?

Basically, my senior year schedule is one of the toughest in my class.

AP English
Physics
Pre-Cal/Calculus

Are some of my tougher classes, but those are the 3 toughest classes my school has to offer.

The very selective colleges look for applicants with demonstrated academic performance and likely academic excellence and motivation. If you don’t take your school’s most rigorous offerings (including senior year), why should you be considered highly when your peer applicants are taking their most rigorous offerings? Absolutely this includes Senior year classes.

Yes, you must absolutely take the AP and the other tough classes if you are aiming for those tippy-top colleges. Good luck to you.
