Do I use the essay topics listed on a college’s website, or do I use the ApplyTexas essay topics?
Also, how often do colleges change the essay prompts listed on their website?
I want to get started on my college essays now and not have to worry about them changing.

You won’t know if the college changes the essay until the application opens. Many keep it the same year on year but if this is the year they change…
As for which essay topics, that depends on the school. You wouldn’t use the ApplyTexas essay topic for Michigan or Berkeley or Rice for instance.
