A Crazy Writing Grammar Question!

Hey guys! This is the "boss" question on International June 7 2014's Writing section

(Even) after (lowering) the volumn, Suzanne found that her electric guitar so (annoyed) the neighbors that (they) reported her to the management (No Error)

What do you guys think?

Either no error or “lowering.” “Lowering” based on the fact that the tenses have to remain consistent so “she lowered” would be better?

The gerund “lowering” indicates a participle phrase, which modifies “Suzanne.” For example, the phrase “Even after roaring and clawing, the dragon was not heard” is correct, even though the second part of the sentence is past tense. I don’t think there’s a tense problem in that question. I’d say no error.

No error.

But what about “Annoyed”? Shouldn’t it be “Annoying” to go with the “so”

Guys please help with out with these also:
1- Although the bicycle was not very fast it [must have been] fun to ride.
Should “must have been” be replaced with “was” ? So that the sentence reads :
Although the bicycle was not very fast it was fun to ride.
2- It was English [in origin].
Is this correct or “in origin” should be replaced with “by origin” ?

@Phongtheha‌
NO.
It actually could be “annoyed” instead of “so annoyed”. But still No error.

@TomsRiverParent‌ can you please answer my question as well.
