You need to get at least a 3.0 GPA for your senior year, and Ds don’t look good. You can get your admission rescinded. Dropping a class doesn’t look too good either - you’ll be taking a less rigorous schedule which they don’t like (part B of the 4th bullet point).</p>

<p>Also, keep in mind that in college whether the teacher connects with your learning style or not doesn’t matter - you need to pass your classes with a good grade. I know from experience that several math professors at UCI don’t teach very good and/or have a difficult time speaking English - however most of the students in the class will learn the subject anyway.</p>
