A boy is expelled from a BS for drugs in the spring of his senior year, after a stellar 4 year career. Dad leaves work, drives up to get him. No words are exchanged. NONE. Boy gets in the car and as they reach the entrance and pull out onto the main road the father says, "your mother told me to come up here and get you off the campus. We're off the campus, get out, I'm late for a meeting". Leaves the kid on the side of the road, who spends the night with a day student's folks and goes home with Mom the next day.
