Now i took the Psat and got like a 1260. WHich is terrible I know. But im going to now focus on the Act which i feel is more suited towards my strenths. If i am able to bump up my Act to say a 32-33, what do you think my chances would be at the following.

Brown(First CHoice By Far )
BC ( Cousin Attended )
NYu
Duke ( Cousin Attended )
HYP( I can dream )
Boston Universy
Cal- Berkely
Syracuse
NorthEastern

Please guys any chances and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

An ACT of 32 or above would qualify you for full tuition scholarships at several state universities. A great deal if you participate in an honors college or program. But a 32 ACT is equal to a 1460 SAT,which,in turn, is good enough for any of your designated schools-as far as test scores go.

Excellent chances at Syracuse and Norteastern. That being stated, one school at Syracuse is quite competitive so it depends on your intended major re:Syracuse IMO.

That low Ponnan?
What is your reasoning consideriing a 33 is like 5 points above the mean score for BU. which you ranked me as having a 20 percent chance.

maybe i did rank your BC chance too low, I got confused between BC and BU for a second. BC should actually be more around 60%. lol

Another thing, you have probably heard this a lot, but colleges don't go just by test scores (if they did, there would be so much less confusion in the process of application!)

It is unnecessary and annoying for you to bump every 10 minutes, as you have on this thread. If it falls off the front page, that is cause for a bump.
