Did anyone buy their textbooks from the UCLA store and get charged more on their credit card than what the receipt said?

also, if we buy a textbook from half.com are we still allowed to sell it to the UCLA store when the quarter ends?

yeah, can we sell a textbook from half.com to the ucla store?

So long as UCLA still needs the book for next year they will buy from you. They really have no way of knowing I believe. Personally I would sell it on Half.com makes more money.

Selling back on Half.com is risky, but not that high of a risk if the book is in popular demand.

Selling back to the UCLA store is stable, but you receive much less (25-40% i believe).

They charge more to your credit card as a precaution in the event that the used textbooks aren't available and they have to send you a new book. kinda sucks but that's what happens...
