A Difficult Senior Year

Will a difficult senior year look impressive, especially if I may have had some bad things happen earlier (so, I didn't take a math my soph year, but i was forced not to take one)?

(Yes, I realize this is a stupid question, but I still would appreciate an answer)

Indiana doesn't require math all four years in high school.

Having said that, they want that people definitely have finished pre-calculus or have taken advanced trig if you apply for the business school (you'll need to take the calculus course at IU to graduate from this school) or if you are going into a science department. Otherwise Algebra 2 is about all that you need to have taken. People with the calculus courses get preference in acceptance decisions, though--but they take 81% of applicants, so it's not too tough to get in.

It's a lot tougher to get out (graduate), than to get into the school. Only 49% graduate in 4 years. 71% graduate in 6 years or less.
