Well I've just started my preparation for the SAT and I want to do every week a practice test. But here is my question. I have some PSAT tests, 6 tests from the collegeboard prep course and some tests (~10) that I want to let for April when I'm going to do only practice tests. I also have RocketReview book, in which there is only one practice test and I'm wainting for my Barron's SAT book. So I want to hear your opinion about what tests to do firstly. I think that I should do the PSAT tests first of all but I don't have answers for this tests and it would be hard to score myself after that.

do the Online Course tests, and move on to the BB tests. Only do official CB tests, no Barron's/RR/anything not made by TCB crap.

By the way what do you think should I decline my order for the Barron's book. I placed it only because of the strategies there and maybe because there are 5 practice tests there. As I said I have RR. I'll leave 8 tests for April but my point is what to do first - tests from the Online Course or the PSATs. Thanks guys.

I would try to avoid the PSATs just because while the style and format is similar, the difficulty is slightly lower. If you are insistent on preparing with the PSAT, however, I would either start with the PSAT or mix it up while keeping in mind that the PSAT is easier.

Think about it, if you were to prep with the online courses and then make a sudden switch to the easier PSAT and then onto the harder blue book problems, it is just going to interrupt your preparation. Try to keep a consistent or increasing difficulty.

I am an international student so I'm not familiar with the style and format of PSAT and SAT at all. Maybe it would be best if I do PSATs first and after that SATs. But the problem here is that I don't know the answers for the PSATs and it would be difficult especially on CR.

Are the PSAT practice tests accurate? Because I got 118 on my first practice test and was wondering if my real score would be close.
