Hey guys,
Over the past couple of days, I’ve been stressing myself out. I need a distraction, or some sort of way or tip that would keep me from looking at my choice schools’ websites, flickers, and youtube accounts. I don’t want to think too hard about any school till march 10th. Also, I don’t want to be too focused on Boarding School acceptance letters that I don’t appreciate the upcoming months. How did you all get through the waiting period? (I’m driving myself crazy)
March 10th is a Looooonnnnngggg way off. Go read some books, join a club, exercise, learn how to do your own laundry :), bake some cookies, join or start a club. Much to early to start obsessing about admissions results.
Friends! Assuming you’re staying on top of school work and ec’s, use your bandwidth to be with your friends, in person not just texting/social media. Even if you end up being away from them at school next year it will be nice to have some strong friendships at home and you’ll probably look back with a smile when you think about good memories you’ve made with them.
If you haven’t already, see just how many books from the summer reading lists you can read from ALL the schools for which you applied! They are all good reads and will help you regardless of where you end up spending your next several years. If by chance you end up on a wait list for your favorite school, what a great topic for an update letter to the AO. It would show real ambition…
I can recommend the three books from Khaled Hosseini as well as the three from Jeannette Walls.
lol @LateNightReadshd I am with U! :-SS @-) ;
