A dream deferred?

You are absolutely right.

My EC list was indeed shallow. I placed all too much listing on relationships. I was hoping for them to develop into something more, but until that happens they don’t belong there.

And you were right about my grades and “humbling” part. As I reconstruct my study habits that don’t work into something that does, I myst accept that Yale will not do my humbling for me.
As beforementioned, I am looking at the local state school system and CUNY. I will attept totransfer to Yale once I have rebuilt myself and enhanced my academics, or stay if I like my environment.

And thanks for being clear.

Do the ACT, just because you’re not doing good at the SAT doesn’t mean you’re automatically denied at Yale. Honestly those are some great ECs, you need to stop with the negativity. Also, just because you don’t go to Yale or Harvard or Princeton doesn’t mean you can’t get a good job. I have my doubts about that article, it says nobody cares about Dartmouth and MIT, ***!? you know there are people who turn down Harvard for MIT? Still apply to Yale, and look at other safeties/matches, you don’t need to believe everything you see on the internet.

saminator,
