a EE junior planning to switch to IE

Hey,

I don't seem to be able to handle this semester's EE courses. I just don't think EE is
the right thing for me. I'm thinking about switching to IE. Most of my EE friends are saying
its a bad idea. "Imaginary Engineering" seems to be a pretty widespread word.
I've only heard it in CC discussions until now.

I hope nothing bad happens after graduation w/ an IE degree.
by the way how is Linear Programming? (one of the IE courses I'm taking next semester)

You will be very fine after graduation with an IE degree. We are recruited heavily in every industry. I don't know any IE students that work hard that have had a problem landing a decent job.

Linear Programming can be straightforward if you have a professor that just tests the methods. If you have a professor who makes you apply the concepts behind the methods it can get pretty tough.

What courses are you are taking
