<p>It's been magical!
I got into NMH, at 6 in the morning. Checked email like 10 minutes later, and oh my goodness, EXETER! And I ran to my mom who was about to walk out the door to go to work, and we hugged and danced and I even cried a little!</p>
<p>And then at track practice, I ran 2 miles, doing better than I had expected, and then worked out in the weight room. I check my phone, and in my messages is a picture of the acceptance at CHOATE!!</p>
<p>If anybody here has seen my posts about Choate... You'll know how obsessed I am. And how much I wanted this. And how excited I am!!</p>
<p>And then my parents got the financial aid email. And I got FULL financial aid! Full! Travel expenses and books, too! This is insane!</p>
<p>It really has been a fairy tale. My mom's facebook status sums it up:</p>
<p>"[My mom] is a wee bit verklempt... my baby girl just got accepted at some very prestigious schools... omg I have to let her go now!"</p>
<p>I’m so glad to hear it! I’m really surprised not as many people applied to Choate as last year. OMG!
Bballprep and all these other people I saw posting last year (and inspired me to do the Countdown threaD) are going to be my CLASSMATES!!</p>
<p>Congrats Saer. Today wasn’t really a fairy tale day for me. It was more of a drag. Since I found out about 3 acceptances yesterday and 1 acceptance really early this morning i consider that the good day. I have been antsy because I haven’t found out about NMH yet. It has put me in a bad mood. </p>
<p>Only some people have found out about NMH. I have talked to 2 other people who still have </p>
<p>“Decision for admission will be available on March 10. If you are unable to access your account. We regret that your admission decision is unable to be viewed online at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience. However, your decision letter has been mailed and you should be receiving it shortly. Should you have any questions after receiving your decision letter, please do not hesitate to call the admission office at 413-498-3227. Thank you very much for applying to Northfield Mount Hermon School.”</p>
<p>So my mom said she was going to call in the morning. IT IS CRAZY! I’m assuming it a rejection but I’m going to try to stay positive.</p>
<p>oh my saer! a very similar thing happened to me. i was screaming this morning very loudly that i basically woke the whole neighborhood out!hahaha. :]</p>
<p>so i was like: “I LOVE YOU MARCH 10, 2009!”</p>

I haven’t yet! I got accepted to my top 2 [choices]schools - Exeter and Emma Willard and i can’t decide where to go right now. :</p>
<p>Izzy…what are you talking about lol. Many people reject exeter…its not heaven. Its a great schools but so is every HADES school and many other schools. As surprising as it seems not everyone wants to go to exeter lol. Choates an amazing school! Exeter isn’t definitely better than any other top tier schools, let alone WAY better.</p>
<p>Lol ya a little bit surprised. You put it well thingslost…I mean if your buying shoes from some high designer store ( I don’t know any, im a man). Does it really matter what pair you get, they’re all amazing, its really personal preference.</p>

Congratulations!!! I am so happy for you and was so excited to read your good news yesterday. You will just love Choate. My sister and uncle went there and were very happy…('88, '60). Their best friends continue to be the ones they made at Choate. You have been a great presence on this board!

217 days of this website (at least, of a countdown thread.) And it’s finally… Done. Aaaaah. Relieved sigh!</p>
